We have new baby goats! I never tire of watching them getting up on their wobbly legs to nurse for the first time! Pictures will bne coming soon……
It’s spring in New Mexico for sure; one day hot enough for short sleeves and shorts and the next it’s snowing! Woke this morning to a white frosting layer on the grass and porch. It’s greening up all around us and the stirring of new life/growth is everywhere. I love this time of year when the earth wakes up! Trees and bushes budding and the grasses jumping out of the ground eager for the sunshine. My spinach made it through the winter and is poking through the black dirt of the garden, another week or two and we can have a baby spinach salad. It’s time to take inventory of my seeds and make this year’s garden plan, get the herbs started and the rich black dirt tilled. It’s a beautiful morning at Rainbow Ranch and all the animals are ready for us to feed and milk so off we go to get the day started….
Sunny

Goat babies, watch out!
More are coming.
Room for all.
Have Sunny build new fences.
She is REALLY GOOD at that!
Hugs, Sis
Very inspiring and wonderful to see the places as you describe them. Thank you for sharing with this blog and your website. The washes and goats sound very appealing to this sustainability worker in ABQ.
